Accommodation and Digs
Can you offer accommodation (often called digs) for touring theatre professionals?
If you have a spare room in or near Chelmsford you could be earning money while helping actors and other touring theatre professionals find temporary accommodation during their time working at Chelmsford Theatre. As a guide, an average rate is usually around £30/night, then £90-£130/week.
If you would like to be added to our accommodation list simply fill in the form below. Then, whenever we have a request from a touring company visiting us we will send them the accommodation list and it is up to them to contact the proprietor to discuss their requirements, what facilities are available and fees.
Chelmsford Theatre is only responsible for keeping the accommodation list up to date, all other dealings, including payment, remain between the prospective tenant and the owner of the property.
