Our spacious, fully equipped dance and acting studios situated just behind Chelmsford Theatre.
Coval Lane Studios are 2 large open-plan accessible dance, movement and performance spaces that exist in a repurposed block adjacent to Chelmsford Theatre.
Capacity & Equipment Details
Studio 1 is approximately 11m x 25m and studio 2 17m x 20m, both with a working height of 2.6m. Equipped with a series of rehearsal blocks, portable dance mirrors and ballet barres available. The studios also include self-contained toilet facilities, kitchenette and breakout area.
Availability
The studios are occupied Mon-Fri 9.00am-5.30pm during term times by Mountview Academy of Performing Arts from 1st Sept to 1st April annually.
Chelmsford Theatre are able to make this facility available to a diverse range of performing arts organisations Mon-Sun 9am-10pm around the core Mountview use as outlined above.
